Progesterone 200 Capsule Dosage

Hi, my wife is 6 weeks pregnant. The doctor prescribed her Progesterone 200. Dr. told her it can be administered orally or vaginally. Which one works best? She had a little spotting also.

Using them vaginally usually results in more absorption of the medication. If it's taken orally, the liver tends to process out most of it.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
