Problems With Celebrex

I was forced to start taking the generic Celebrex about 4-6 months ago. I have taken Celebrex for many years! I've had a couple of U/A's come back with traces of blood in my urine and wondering if this could be related to the drug?!

According to FDA reports, Celebrex has been known to cause some gastro-intestinal bleeding as a side effect, though it's not very common. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, edema, leg cramps, and alopecia.

So yes, there is a chance it could be do to the medication, but only a doctor can do more checking to say for sure.

Traces of blood in the urine could also be caused by conditions, such as urinary tract infections, kidney infections, kidney stones, and others.

Are you on any other medications?
