Thank you for all the information and taking the time to post experiences and feedback. I generally DO NOT have good results with these types of medications so my doctor thought we'd try this but I started taking it a week ago today (08.31.15) and have been having side effects as others have mentioned. I have increased pain in the mornings that is causing me to take other pain medications that I didn't have to take before, weird dreams when I NEVER used to dream before along with cloudy feeling brain and blurry vision.

I think based on these side effects that have already started on just 25MG that I am going to quit cold starting tomorrow. My doctor was going to keep me on this dose for another week and then increase it to 50MG but I'm already having issues now and don't want to chance getting further along down a bad road.

It is normal to have side effects, when you are new to taking a medication. With this medication, you nay experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, depression, mood swings and weight changes.

However, they should improve and eventually go away entirely, as your body gets used to the medication, but that may take 4 to 5 weeks at the same dosage.

Have you informed your prescriber of the problems you're having?
