I've been diagnosed with Essential Tremors. I'm on 25mg primidone at night. I had trouble staying awake all day and had some nausea. Can I cut the pill into quarters?

I take 100 mg of primidone nightly to control essential tremors. I have tried other Rx's but haven't been successful. Primidone makes me very tired. I have great difficulty getting out of bed early in the morning to go to work as a dental hygienist. When I get up I take Vyvanse to stimulate me, but I get tired again around 6:00pm. What other means do I have of being alert in the evenings?y
