Primaleve Dosage

Am taking primaleve for menopause ..I was reading the prescribed amount for evening primrose which is 3 to 4 times daily 500 mg..This come in 1,000 mg capsule my main problem which is occasional bouts of depression slight waves of it and the sweats hotflashes .This is my real aim to decrease them so i wondering if i tool Prima every 12 hours would that be safe,or any side affect like skin rashes whatever..lose stool anything like this..and how long can safely take this products?..I just got off of Premarin 0.625 which I have been taking almost 5 years.I have surgical historectomy,but i still have my ovaries and my tubes.I have been off the Premarin for one month already..am 53 years old normal BP normal sugar levels legs cramps getting better back problems slight obesity Colestr normal lung congestion problems getting better..colasped disc in neck getting slightly better with therapy..thats it ..no heart problems..occasion inverted T waves..back lesions bone spurs MRI bone decay early signs of osteporosis.. Lumbar problems working through it..bouts of nausea weakness tiredness ..swollen galnds..allot of ear and nose problems..its comes and goes..teeth normal ,eyes normal vision problems for my age ,I belive many problems occur from my prolasped disc in neck ..and the estrogen maybe..???

Unfortunately, since Evening Primrose products are herbal supplements, rather than actual medications, they are not studied and tested for side effects, safe dosage amounts and etc. like actual prescription drugs are. Therefore, there is really no way to answer your question.

Have you discussed it with your doctor?

You do have to be careful with supplements, because some of them are very potent and taking too much of them can be dangerous.
