Prevention Of Diverticulitis

I was operated for diverticulitis using hemicolectomy a year ago. I am feelin fine now. Are there chances of recurrence ?

There was sudden bleeding with the stools. From colonoscopic examination it was diagnosed as diverticulosis on which hemicolectomy was done on the right side of the colon
