Prescription Substitute For Zegrid

I have been taking Zegrid for about 6 months which seems to be more effective than the Prilosec I was previously taking. The medicine is expensive and if I could get a prescription for similar medication, it would be less expensive with my co-pay. Any suggestions?

It contains the active ingredient Omeprazole, which is available in generics and name brands both over the counter and by prescription, but it has the same active ingredient as the Prilosec.
