Prescribed Methamphetamine Treatment For Adhd

Hi, I'm Alex, I live in Spain and I have tdah. It turns out that I have tried all the treatments that exist here in Spain for ADHD and the one that has come closest to treating my symptoms has been lisdexanphetamine in a dose of 70mg + 70mg that is twice the maximum dose.

I have researched that in the United States and Canada they use pharmaceutical methamphetamine as a medicine and it is very effective, but here in Spain they do not sell it.

My question is this: If I go to Canada or the United States as a tourist, could I be prescribed this by a doctor? The other question is if I can be prescribed it, could I bring the medicine on the plane without having problems with customs? Thank you.

It could be prescribed to you, though it would be much easier to see a doctor in the U.S., than in Canada.

However, since it carries the risk of being addictive, most doctors will not immediately prescribe it for a new patient, and most will only prescribe one month's worth, so this plan wouldn't work well, unless you could come to the U.S. and see a doctor every 30 days.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this class of medications as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, weight loss, nervousness, and anorexia.

What other treatments have you tried in Spain?

It's called Desoxyn here in the states. Many doctors will not prescribe it. The ones who do will likely have you try Adderall, Dexedrine, and Vyvanse first... so it would be a months long process.

Also if it is not legal in your home country then you could not legally return with it. You could probably bring it on the plane leaving the US. Not sure how you would get off the plane with it?
