Prescribed 10mg. Oxycodone, Had To Take 5 Norcos The Other Day.

I'm prescribed 10mg. Oxcys. I went out of town 3 days ago n forgot my med, so I took 5 leftover Norcos I had left in my makeup bag from when my pm doc changed me from Norco to Oxycodone. Does Norco act differently in my body than the Oxy?

No, it is also a narcotic and has the same action for alleviating pain.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

However, if you have a pain contract, you might have violated the terms, so it would be best to inform your doctor of what happened.
