Prenatal Plus Amn What All Is In It

I want a specific list of the vitamins and minerals that is in this vitamin so I will know if I need any other supplements. For example: Does it have Zinc, Cysteine, L-theanine, Omega-3's, B complex, I want to know EXACTLY WHAT ALL IT DOES CONTAIN, insert that comes with my prescription tells me NOTHING.

most of prenatal vitamins are gluten free. I compared the ingredients in the Prenatal Plus Tab to Spring Valley Prenatal Multivitamins. Spring Valley's label states clearly, NO GLUTEN- I compared ingredients: The Spring Valley, which is gluten free has more ingredients in it than the prenatal plus tab, but everything in the prenatal plus tab is also in the sring valley prenatal, so I'm going to go off of ingredients- if the spring valley is gluten free, so is the prenatal plus tab. I think you are safe.

I have a problem. I just found out I am pregnant and I need to start taking a prenatal vitamin. However, I am very allergic to gluten, soy, and dairy. I have some Prenatal Plus Tab Amn, but it does not say what is in it. Are these safe for me to take?

I understand your dilemma, many of them just say it's a vitamin supplement, but there are no specifics on how much of anything it contains or what it may be missing.

These specific ones from Amneal Pharmaceuticals are listed as containing:

1.84MG THIAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE;120MG ASCORBIC ACID;10MG PYRIDOXINE HYDROCHLORIDE;400UNT VITAMIN D;22UNT VITAMIN E;22MG VITAMIN E;12MG CYANOCOBALAMIN;400UNT CHOLECALCIFEROL;20MG NIACINAMIDE;4000UNT VITAMIN A;1MG FOLIC ACID;20MG NIACIN;1.84MG THIAMINE;65MG IRON;3MG RIBOFLAVIN;200MG CALCIUM;2MG COPPER;25MG ZINC;27MG IRON;12MCG CYANOCOBALAMIN. (I found this listed on an information site, clear-health.com.)

So, it does have Zinc, a B complex and Folic Acid and the other ones that are all considered vital to a healthy pregnancy.
