Pregnant While On Vii

Is anyone else pregnant and taking Vii? I have the episodes of sleep paralysis, hallucinations etc. IS THIS EFFECTING MY BABY? My OB said he loves Vii and his patients like it HOGWASH!!!!!!!!!! I start a new OB next week I am curious what she thinks?!?!?!

I understand your concern and it may be well founded, under the drug category listing, it's a pregnancy category C, which means that animal studies have shown evidence of fetal risk. No controlled studies have been done in humans, of course, since that would be unethical, but it is suggested that you should make sure that the benefits outweigh the risks, before using it in a pregnant woman.

And if I'd been on any type of medication back when I had my son, though that was many, MANY moons ago, I'd sit down with my OBGYN and discuss the risks and benefits in an honest and realistic manner. I think it would be a good idea for you, when you see the new doctor.

Does anyone else have any experiences to add regarding taking it while pregnant?
