Pregnancy After Jadelle Removal (Top voted first)

I had jadelle implants for 5 years and removed the implants in May 2013 and up till now I am still not pregnant. I have had normal menstral cycles after removal and still cant understand why i cant get pregnant. How soon will the effects of Jadelle wear off so i can become pregnant

I am 36 now, I have just removed Jadelle six months ago after five years. I want to try for a girl, already have two boys. Am worried about my age, I think I need to get pregnant before 40 but am not sure how soon the Jadelle will wear off

I had my jadelle for 2years and then removed it because it was making me bleed a lot. .....now we are trying to make a baby but um failing. ...its been 3mnths now and nothing is happening um scared my man will leave me because already he thinks that um barren what can I do

thank you for the response. I did go to see my doctor and he recommended i start taking a fertility drug Clomid. He said i should start taking the pill soon after my period ends for five days and hopefully something can happen. Fingers crossed

Hi there, I had my jadelle in for almost 3 years. Had it removed 18 Nov 2015. When on the janelle I had heavy periods. Now it's removed I haven't had period since then & it's been 6+ weeks. When should I expect getting periods again?

My partner had a jadelle inserted 5 years ago. Recently she felt a need to have it removed while having her periods, but we were intimate after her cycle. Is it possible that she could fall pregnant?

thanks for your post. Its almost a year and a half later, still no preggie, yes I guess as you say, let me not rush anything. I am sorry about what happened to you. With my second son, it was about a year till I fell pregnant after removal and I had no problems with the pregnancy and the birth was fine. Lets see how round three goes :)

i have just submitted a post so it wont be up yet, i had it in for 2 and a half years got it in after i had my son, got pregnant within 4 weeks and yesterday at 12 weeks 1 day i started bleeding and had a scan only to find out baby was only developed to 9 weeks, my question is, what are the side effects the rod has on our pregnancies after we get it removed? maybe, just maybe, your body is taking its time because if it does do things to our bodies, it may be clearing it all up for you so when it does happen, it will be perfect and maybe me getting pregnant so fast there may still be stuff going on that could of done this to my baby as i read in this article: stillbirthday.com/gestational-age-of-your-baby. :) that's what i am thinking anyway. so seriously, i would not rush, i would keep waiting and hopefully your body is going back to normal getting all ready for when its time :) all the best x

I had my Jadelle implants removed in March 2015. It's Feb 2017 and I am still trying to conceive. I have been on four cycles of clomid but no luck. I am getting frustrated. Anyone in the same situation?

Hey everyone, i posted on this forum awhile ago not long after i removed my jadelle (just under a year ago). Long story short - i had to go in two times to get both rods taken out , we kept ttc and i am happy to say now i am 9 weeks pregnant - i know still early days yet but im still being positive and also sending positive vibes to everyone ttc. Keep the faith ladies xx

hi , i had a jadelle inserted on 13th November 2015 and i removed it in on 4th April 2016 deal to some complications.and my partner and i are trying to have a baby but stil cant concieve.what can i do?

I had mine for 2 years and 2 months.Removed it and fell pregnant immediately but unfortunately miscarried at 8 weeks.Since then have been failing to get pregnant again and its been 19 months now.
