Prednisone For Bronchitis Expired
UpdatedI have bronchitis and have some Prednisone pills that have expired on 10/15/15. Are they still ok to take?

This medication does not become dangerous, once expired, but it does start to lose efficacy, so it may not work as well as it did, when it was new. Thus, it would be best to dispose of it and see your doctor for a new supply, if required.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, fluid retention, and weight gain.
Is there anything else I can help with?
