Prednisone And Paragon 500mg

I've just been diagnosed with Sciatica and they gave me Prednisone (1 a day for 5 days) and Paragon 500mg (1 by mouth 4 times a day). I'm still in very bad pain. Which one of these medications is better for me?

Paragon is the name of a pharmaceutical company, not a medication. Can you please check the label and post back with more details, or possibly the markings on the pills?

The FDA classifies Prednisone as a steroid, in cases such as yours, it is usually used to treat inflammation. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, fluid retention, and weight gain.
