Prednisone 10mg For Allergic Rxn

My doctor prescribed 10mg of prednisone to be taken for 7 days.. And adviced me to come back after 1 week.. But i was not able to come back for follow up check up.. Should i continue taking prednisone? Or should i stop and wait for my next follow up check up again? Hoping for the reply. Thanks alot

Have you been able to see the doctor, again, yet?

You should take it for the amount of time prescribed, then stop. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, mood changes, and fluid retention.

Are you on any other medications?
