I am Asthmatic with Pulmonary Fibriosis. Suffered pneumonia where my lungs collapsed. I recovered after 5 days of indused coma. It is now 2 &1/2 years of a lot of drugs combination because my right side of the heart is failing because of poor oxygen circulation. i take a daily dose of 7.5 mg of prednisolone, lasix Amzart for HBP, spiriva, unicontin, zarcon etc. With so many drugs, oedema, what can i do to stop taking Prednisolone?

Have you discussed this with your doctor(s)?

That would really be the best thing you can do. Those are serious medical issues that could put your life in danger, so it would really be remiss for anyone online to advise you to stop taking it or to make any changes to your medication regimen.

I understand your concern, it can be a dangerous medication that can cause serious side effects and complications, but you need to consult a doctor that's familiar with your medical history and current status, so they can help you weigh the pros and cons to make the best informed decision you can for your own health and safety.
