If you or a loved one has ever taken the drug Pradaxa, please pay close attention to what I have to say because this may be the most important message you ever read.

Recently the blood-thinning drug PRADAXA has been linked to life threatening and sometimes fatal internal bleeding and heart attacks.

A new study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine has found that Pradaxa was “significantly associated with a higher risk†of heart attacks and acute coronary syndrome compared to similar blood thinning drugs.

Over 500 cases of hemorrhaging have been reported to the FDA in the first quarter of 2011 alone.

Since this drug was prescribed primarily to the elderly, the number of deaths and serious side effects are much more common among those 65 years or older.

Worse yet, to date, there have been 260 deaths worldwide have been directly linked to Pradaxa.

This drug was first approved and marketed in October of 2010 as a new line of blood thinner prescribed to patients who are at risk for irregular heartbeat, which can lead to stroke or death.

This medication carries a risk of internal bleeding common to other blood thinning drugs; however the likelihood of it becoming life-threatening appears to be greater among Pradaxa users.

The adverse health effects associated with Pradaxa induced INTERNAL BLEEDING include the following:

Unusual bleeding or bruising
Coughing up or vomiting blood
Pink or brown colored urine
Red or black tar like stools

If you believe that you or someone close to you is currently experiencing a Pradaxa side effect, please seek out a medical professional immediately for an evaluation.

The lawyers you will contact are committed to exposing the dangers of this medication and pursuing justice on behalf of all those who have been needlessly harmed by it.

Is there any update to this 11-year old notice? Surely there must be additional data.
