Potassium Citrate Causing Acid Reflux

I have been on potassium citrate meds since February ‘22 to help control the formation of kidney stones and I am beginning to have trouble with acid reflux. My urologist tells me that some people come off these meds because of this and just deal with the occasional stone instead of putting up with the side effects of the meds. Does anyone have any experiences to share?

Have you asked your doctor what you can do to alleviate the reflux?

If it's safe for you to take, an antacid might help, though they can also cause side effects, such as nausea, dry mouth, and headache.
