Potassium Chloride, 750mg

I take 1 KCl a day and since I started taking it I'd always have acid stomach or acid reflux. I had to take over the counter acid reducer. Can you tell me if I should stop taking this. I am taking many prescription medicines and there might be interactions. Thanks.

Did your pharmacy not warn you that it can do that and should be taken with food?

That's usually a very typical warning given for these potassium tablets, since they are so potent. It may also cause gas and bloating, as listed by the FDA.

What other medications do you take? If you can post back with them, I'll gladly check for interactions for you.

Thanks Verwon for your reply. Honestly, I already stopped taking the potassium tablets. Yes, no warning was given me by my doctor. But I am OK now. My potassium level was at 4 the last time I had a blood test. I am looking for substitute for this potassium pills. In the meantime, I eat 1 banana a day. Thanks for replying. NITZ
