POT CL MICRO 20 MEQ TABS
I TAKE 4 a day, usually 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.. I picked up the prescription tonite so I took them late, 2 each at a time so it was late. I woke up with.a shortness of breath, can only sit straight up. Can the potassium cause this.

As is usually stated in the instructions from your pharmacy, don't lay down for at least half an hour, after taking it, to prevent the acid from refluxing.

It may, however, still cause some nausea and stomach irritation and, in that case, it should be taken with a light snack or meal.

This is a Potassium supplement and the can be very irritating to the stomach and this may cause some reflux issues. If it does cause this reflux of stomach acid, it could cause damage to your esophagus, such a ulcerations.
