Possible Clash Of Medication Prescribed For High Blood Pressure?

Having been on Irbesartan (300mg) and Nebivolol (10mg x2 a day) I have now been prescribed Amlodipine for the last 2/3 weeks. Apart from the swollen ankles, along with stiffness and a tight feeling which GP mentioned was a possibility of taking the latter, I am now suffering horrendous cramps in my left thigh and also severe muscular pain in the side of my neck. My blood pressure has certainly improved with the Amlodipine but the disturbed sleep and agony of cramp/muscle
pain is becoming unbearable. Should I carry on persevering or see the doc?

Yes, please see your doctor. Some of just can't tolerate Amlodipine, I had similar problems with it and had to switch to another medication.

There's a chance things may improve, but in most cases with this medication, from both my own experience as well as those reported by others, I've found they frequently don't ease off or go away.

The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and increased urination.
