Possible Od On Morphine, Prescribing To Much By Dr

HELP! I need as much information as possible with Morphine OD or maybe a mixture of Morphine w/other prescriptions. Also questioning the laws of my Mother's M.D. Had scoliosis operation last 7/07. Put on morphine, oxicotten, along w/blood pressure medicine and possible other meds. Completely lost mentally for quite some time. Back home w/no diagnosis and all test results (many) come back clean. Feel confused, don't know where to turn as she is a little alert, but mostly her mind and her spirit is gone! Any help out there is greatly appreciated!

Well the main issue here isn't over prescribing, but the side effects of these meds, the pain meds do work as depressants on the brain and can cause these symptoms, you might want to speak to her doc about lowering her dosage or changing her scrips altogether.

You have to watch her closely and
you just might want to contact an
attorney,I lost my mother Nov.28,05
she was in the hospital for months
her dr. never really came in to see her at all,she od on morphine it put
her into sock,it also shut down her
kidneys to where she couldnt use
the rest room,she then swelled up
from that point its really nothing u
could do but pray.
