Please Help Me Find Help Gaining Weight

I'm nineteen years of age, weight currently around 7 stone and 7 and a half it drops and increases ALL the time. I've been weighting fir this so called weight gain everyone says you'll get when you turn 18 its still or happened and im not nearly 20 so basically a woman trapped in a Childs body. Recently I've become disgusted with myself and how I look its making me have to appitite because I've given up on trying I eat over and above and its really bringing me down and I've become paranoid when I eat that if I eat to much people judge and if I eat less they think im anorexic im in fear I'll go to the doctors and they won't prescribe me anything if this is normal for me and then I fear being underweight and they think im annorexic I am very lost in this world of weight gain and I am desperate for help

Hi, Frankie! I am very sorry about the issues that you're dealing with.

However, some people are just naturally small and it may never change. The main problem going on here is that you're worrying about what everyone else thinks of you and it's given you a very bad body image. You may have an actual syndrome that's called Body Dysmorphic Disorder, which is characterized by someone's having excessive concern with a preconceived defect in the way they look.

This can be a very serious and debilitating disorder, because it can create the type of worry that you're experiencing, along with the eating issues, self-disgust and other symptoms.

You really need to consult your doctor for assistance. They can help you with everything, including being underweight, if that is the case.

Does anyone else have any suggestions to make?
