Please Help Me Find A Doctor Who Prescribes Methadone In Albany Ny

I'm at a really bad unprofessional clinic in Albany , I've been there twelve years . It's the main source of stress in my life and I desperately need to find a private doctor to give me a script

I'm sorry, but under the current laws, a private doctor cannot prescribe Methadone for addiction treatment. That can only be done in a clinical setting by those who are specially trained in its use for addiction.

There have been quite a few questions regarding this recently and this is the sad information I've had to give everyone that's asked. Even if someone only resorted to it out of desperation for pain, the fact that they went to an addiction treatment facility is what's in their medical records, so no regular doctor can prescribe it for them.

Hi Foz. Why doesn’t your doctor who is retiring tell you who to see once he retires?? He has an obligation to write your prescriptions that you need for a period of 1 month plus he needs to give you the names of all of the Pain Management doctor ASAP
