Please Name The Top Drugs That Having The Most Weight Gain As A Side Effect, Except Cortisone Pills

Thank you for the answers. I appreciate it. I am just doing a research and thought I ask over this website in case other people would like to share opinions. Maybe some drugs could be an answer to underweight people if first consulting a doctor.

There are actually far too many medications to list, that can cause weight gain as a side effect and there is also no way to determine if any given person would experience this as a side effect. Some people experience weight gain from SSRI antidepressants and some don't.

In addition, most medications can also cause other side effects and, if they do cause weight gain, then it is generally only temporary and doesn't last, once the medication is discontinued. This, coupled with the possible dangers, explains why most doctors will not resort to such things, unless someone is severely underweight and in danger.
