Plateau After Losing 38 Lbs

I've been on it since last July and have lost 38 lbs, but I hit a plateau about a month ago. I am trying to limit calories and walking 3 miles a day. I just seem to be getting very hungry in the evening again. Am I immune to the contrave now? It is costing me $60 dollars a month now. My insurance doesn't pay for it.

Hello, Cheryl! How are you? Has there been any change?

You're not likely resistant to it, already, most people taking it have reported hitting a plateau period for anywhere from a few weeks to a month, before it started working for them, again.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia, nervousness and anorexia.

Is there anything else I can help with?

The same thing is happening to me it's coming up on a year and I feel like it really doesn't do much is there a high dosage you can take.

Where do you get it for $60 a month. I got 100 pills for $233 and that was with insurance.

I started taking contrave for almost two weeks now. I'm losing weight, and my cravings are very much in check. I was just wondering, how long would I be able to take contrave? How long have any of you been taking it?

I’ve been on Contrave for almost a year now. I lost 30lbs in 6months. However these last 6 months I’ve stayed at the same weight no matter what I try. I know people plateau on the medication for a while but is 6months normal??

If you've been on it for a long time the company that makes contrave grandfather's you in, with a discount card. Sounds like what you're paying is full price or close to. If you go on to contrave. Com on the website you can download a discount card and it shouldn't cost you any more than $115 for a hundred and 20 pills per month
