Is there a difference in the potency of the generic oval orange 30mg and the generic round pink 30 mg?

To Wendy. Kroger pharmacy carries the round Sandoz generic 30mg.

Yeah, the round Orange ones made me feel that way too! Pink oval ones are the best! The orange one wear off fast.

I live in MI too and they are hard to find especially the pink ones. I go to Walgreen's and have always gotten the orange. The mom and pops (pharmor/Pharmax) usually don't care so they'll order the pink ones if they don't already have them. I know Meijer has 20mg pink but do not carry 30mg. According to what I've read online and other people that I know who take 30mgs, the manufacturer of the orange uses fillers that make a difference in the effects of the pill. The orange used to be the ones everyone liked but now it's the pink ones. Maybe the manufacturer for the orange changed their fillers to save or make money. My insurance doesn't cover adderall so I have to go where the best price is that I can afford. I prefer the round scored pink tablets 30mgs over the orange football looking 30mgs. Any suggestions on where to get the best prices? Walgreen's has worked with me and given me discounts etc but again they're orange. Thanks for any input.

Walgreen's always has them or a Pharmor or Pharmax Pharmacy. Once you're established with one particular pharmacy they'll keep them stocked for you. But never use CVS or Rite Aid they're way too expensive and always back ordered. Good luck.

Hi my name is cliff, and I would like to know if there are any local adderal users here in San Antonio, reason being is because I would like to try the orange or the pink or white or the blue so that I can determined which ones I would like for my doctor to prescribed for me I will even pay for them if necessary.

I've tried the tabs and caps, I prefer the blue caps, which are the best . I think the Orange tabs are better than the pink ones though

Yes totally! I don't know if a difference in pink blue orange . I wasn't feeling very frisky lately and now watch out!!! Yay!

TOdoubleD.. Yes, I have had that effect for sure not with pink ones though. I took pink 20 mg and I had a bad headache and felt grumpy. I know people say "its all in your head" but I had also allergic reaction from them. I was taking orange 20mg and I felt very happy, so was my boyfriend ...
I dont mind generic the pharmacy won't ask if u want brand, they just give u generic. So.e companies should really make it close to the same ingredients as Brand. That's just my opinion.

I was given Corepharma 20mg tablets after having been on the 10mg XL (Globalpharma) for a month. Didn't like them at the beginning because of side effects and seemingly lack of efficacy but after about a week I got used to the side effects and they turned out to be working pretty well. I feel very calm and focused at work, and the wearing off is smooth.The only side effect I experience on this 20mg pill is slightly cold fingers but that's it. I also have some 20mg Teva tablets. So far, the Teva pill gives me side effects such as palpitations and numbness, and most importantly, I am not focused or calm when I use them. Maybe I need to get used to the Teva and when I do they will probably (hopefully) work as well. I live in Boston MA, Boston medical pharmacies carry Corepharma and Wallgrenns carry Teva. Not sure about CVS but will find out. As far as I know there are two options when it comes to generic Adderall: Impax labs who owns Globalpharma and Corepharma, and Teva who owns Actavis. Sandoz (Novartis) is also a possibility (especially for the extended release capsules) but not many pharmacies carry them. I am also wary that some readers here seem to believe that the FDA allows generics to vary (+/- 80-120%). This is not entirely correct. The variation refers to the 90% confidence intervals of the average values of the area under the drug curve, not to the actual amount of active analyte and has to do with statistical accuracy.

@POE : In your second post, you said that you reversed the colors - does that mean that you prefer the pink (generic) Adderall over the orange one? Also, do you (or does anyone else) have an opinion on the generic Adderall that is round, light yellow color and stamped with #447? I live in PA - I noticed when I picked up my new prescription for Adderall 30 mg, the pharmacy where I get all of my scripts filled gave me this type of generic. I used to take the small blue 10 mg because my doctor started me on a low dose of 20 - 30mg daily each morning and increased my dose at my 2 month follow-up appointment. I ask because this 30 mg pill doesn't appear to be working for me: my symptoms are actually not improving the way they had after taking two of the 10mg blue pills! Anyone else have feedback for me?

The "pink ones" are made by the Global Impax and are commonly called CorePharma or Core.

In my city they are readily available at many grocery stores rather than traditional pharmacies. Stores like Kroger, Tom Thumb/Randalls, Albertsons always have them on hand.

CorePharma's tablets are round, neon pink in color, and Cor 136 or Cor 137 for the 20mg & 30mg tablet.

Yes, there is a huge difference! I live in TN and had been getting the pink ones and felt great! Then one month I got the orange ones and did not feel a thing. I asked my pharmacy about it and she said that is what the manufacturer sent them. Well that went on for about 6 months. This week I went and picked mine up and low and behold I got the good pink ones again. Doing my happy clap! Haha, back problems can't do the dance!
