Yeah, the round Orange ones made me feel that way too! Pink oval ones are the best! The orange one wear off fast.

Well, any specific pharmacy chain carrying just one brand is not always the case. Although you may have lucked out in the past with frequently filling a certain Rx such as adderall & getting the same brand every time...I wouldn't depend on that being the case every time. Unfortunately it depends on the specific region you're in, store, the current demand with the # of customers regularly going to that one pharmacy to have their regular medication filled monthly & more importantly if in fact the company that makes them has enough to dispense. Also keep in mind that one pharmacy can only order so much & may have to look for another brand for the rest.

Saying one brand is at CVS & another is at Walgreens is NOT specifically the truth. I personally know that some Walgreen pharmacies do in fact carry Teva & Sandos (orange) brands of amphetamine salt tabs aka Adderall & vice versa Pharma Cor (pink) is also is dispensed at some CVS pharmacies. Going to all kinds of pharmacies is your best when you cannot find what you are looking for & "mom & pop type" pharmacies sometimes work out best if you can find one of those as well. ;-) Good Luck!

I've taken the orange oval and hated the taste! I changed insurance companies and pharmacies... I now have Express Scripts which comes in the mail with a three month supply?! Boy! You most definitely need to prove and sign for the Aderrall! I've only taken my one day dose and cannot feel or sense any difference between the two types?! Too soon perhaps?! I'm glad NOT TO TASTE THAT SICKY SWEET FLAVOR IF THE ORANGE OVAL!!!! Sincerely, Wolfie

Ive taken the round pink 20 mg manufactured by coref for quite a while and they work great. I think i have taken some other generics as well.cvs gave me an oval blue one a few months ago. i thought they were stale , didn't work, and make me sick to my stomach ( I did some research and MANY people were having the same issue. Back at cvs this month where i explained what happened. they gave me peach oval tablet this time ( teva makes bot the blue and peach) and Im so pissed bc it's the same as the blue. They have a lot of filler in them. I think coref and possibly Barr make the best generics. I hope this helps (stay away from cvs for adderall if you can at least in NYstate).

I live in MI too and they are hard to find especially the pink ones. I go to Walgreen's and have always gotten the orange. The mom and pops (pharmor/Pharmax) usually don't care so they'll order the pink ones if they don't already have them. I know Meijer has 20mg pink but do not carry 30mg. According to what I've read online and other people that I know who take 30mgs, the manufacturer of the orange uses fillers that make a difference in the effects of the pill. The orange used to be the ones everyone liked but now it's the pink ones. Maybe the manufacturer for the orange changed their fillers to save or make money. My insurance doesn't cover adderall so I have to go where the best price is that I can afford. I prefer the round scored pink tablets 30mgs over the orange football looking 30mgs. Any suggestions on where to get the best prices? Walgreen's has worked with me and given me discounts etc but again they're orange. Thanks for any input.

Walgreen's always has them or a Pharmor or Pharmax Pharmacy. Once you're established with one particular pharmacy they'll keep them stocked for you. But never use CVS or Rite Aid they're way too expensive and always back ordered. Good luck.

I take 30mg. Addy's for narcolepsy. I personally can NOT tell I even take them. I can go right to sleep easily. Can anyone tell me what they think is best for narcolepsy? The round, oval or different med all together?? Truly need help tired of sleeping life away!

I have found that the Orange is ineffective for me ,it lasts only 5 hours ..the pink lasts 10 hours ..and with narcolepsy I need the pink ...there is definitely a big difference from my personal experience .

No the pink is generic and all salt fillers. The proportion should be 75/ 25.
Only shire adderall is adderall!

omg itss so hard to find a pharmacy who keeps them stocked....been there done that....i have a drs office which has a pharmacy attached therefore im lucky but youd have togo to your local pharmacy and have them order them for you and tell them youll be needing them every month and moving forward they should always have them ready for you.
