Pink Qualitest 10/500 Lortab Vs. Watson 540 Lortab
UpdatedI was getting the blue Watson Lortab 10/500 till they changed to the white ones, which do not help the pain at all. They did do something to the formula, it's not in my head. Today I found a pharmacy that has got the pink 10/500 made by Qualitist Pharm. which they took of the market back in Jan. Now they are back with 3600 on one side and a V on the other. Approx. the same price and MUCH MUCH better.THANKS QUALITIST.

I am glad you found a brand that work for you, again.
And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is something you should be made aware of, because it will have an affect on you in the near future…
By request of the FDA, all of these combination prescription medications are being changed to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose.
This request was made due to the risks of liver damage or failure that can be associated with long-term use of high dosages, as well as the risk of overdose toxicity.
Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the changes and the rest are expected to have it done by January of 2014.
You can learn more Vicodin details here.
Thus, they will be changing in the near future for everyone.
Are there any comments or questions?
Yea. All you do is take a extra strength Tylonol 500 mg with 2 of the Lortab 325 and you have the same effect as taking 2 of the 10/500's. I have done it and it works.
I also got home to find my blue Watson 540's- 10/500 mg were some white inferior pills that are not touching my pain. First of all does anyone know of an equivelant pain med or brand to the Watson? If they are lowering all hydrocodone to 325mg.....that is the acetominophine amount
With a 5-7.5-or 10 miligram being the opiate. Why add 2 more tylenol 500mgs, to the already 325mgs already thst you say the Government is implementing? Im in pain here. Will make Dr. Appt
to discuss this change tomorrow. 5/29/2013.?????
Yep your right I have been knowing about this change for about 8-9 mon now. Abbot laboratories is the only one that has complied with the new FDA guidelines thus far but lk you said come Jan 2014 all will have to change and it means better for your liver but prolly not as great for your pain cuz the reason they r mixed in first place is to boost the effect of the narcotic which basically means ppl r gonna want/need something stronger so the tolerance level to stronger meds will be higher therefore liver damage anyway.
