Pink Oblong Pill M On One Side 58 59 The Other

I need to know if there is any soy or soy derivitives in this tablet. I am highly allergic to soy and my pharamacist tried to call and said they were closed until Monday.

From what I could gather, M 58 59 has been identified as Metaxalone 800 mg.

Info on each inactive ingredient is quoted below:

"Alginic acid (C14H22O13) is a natural carbohydrate that comes from algae in seaweed (kelp) and is used in processed foods. It is also used in certain medications, such as Gaviscon liquid, to create a foam barrier for coating the stomach. Alginic acid is often combined with aluminum hydroxide and magnesium carbonate to form antacids. Alginic acid does not appear to be absorbed or metabolized after ingestion."

"Magnesium stearate exists as a salt form and is useful for it's lubricating properties for capsules and tablets in industry. It is used to help prevent pharmaceutical ingredients from adhering to industry equipment. Magnesium stearate may be derived from both plant and animal sources."

"Corn starch is a natural starch product that is derived from the corn kernel."

"Calcium can be derived from either plant or animal sources"
