Pink Lortab 10 500 Watson
UpdatedI have been a chronic low back pain patient for 3 years now and been on the lortab 10/500mg the entire time. Iv been receiving the pink V3600 lortabs, but for the last 3 months my pharmacist told me there was a recall on them. but today he had a shipment of them in, but i was getting the bpue Watson 540 lortabs and in my opinion i do know they are the same thing. but even my pharmacist told me that not only me but lits of pain patients prefer the pink to any other lortab because they seem to take effect faster and last alot longer, i go to a owner operator pharmacy instead of wapgreens because a individual pharmacy gives you the option to pick your preference you may have to pay extra as i have to pay what my inaurance does not. but i would try a individuals or family pharmacy because all the walgreens and cvs even walmart mainly carry the white weak lortabs and sometimes you can get the watson 540 if your lucky but after i found this wonderful pharmacist i will never make the change back to a pharmacy chain such as walgreens or a cvs for nothin. there has been times that i was short 5 times of my blood pressure meds and even shorted me by 28 on ly lortabs at walgreens but they told me that once i leave the pick up desk it is no longer there problem anyway, I hope that my info helps and good luck. I hope you can get your pink lortabs back because they are worth swapping pharmacies if you have to to buy them.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share that information. I think many people on here would benefit from avoiding those judgmental pharmacies. Sometimes I wonder if the workers are even aware of what they are handing you at the window there.
If it's any help to anyone, you can always argue that certain brands (aside from the one you're asking for) have been proven to contain a different percentage of the actual active ingredient, as well as different inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that have a significant impact on how the tablet may be absorbed by your body.
I'm not sure why pharmacies aren't making patients more aware of this, but the FDA permits generic formulas to vary by as much as 20% from the active ingredients in brand formulas. 20% is extremely sloppy in my honest opinion!
Anyhow, this should offer some hope to those who may need to win a discussion over why they need the pink tablet vs the white one, or vise-verse for any given medication.
I totally agree. I want the pink ones back!!
The Pink, Blue or white tabs. Its like going food shopping these days for pain medications. You have rights as a consumer and can ask about generics in those types of medications. No places like CVS even Rite aid may lie to you about insurance coverage.
