in my son's room, i found a foil packet with one clear side that reveals a pink gel ring with a plastic tube attached on one side, also encased in a pink gel-like material. it looks like a bracelet with a small gel-cased plastic barrel. There is a number printed on the foil: 7094440100. is this some kind of medicine? a prescription drug? an illegal substance?

I am really no sure what it is. It sounds like it could be one of the vaginal insert birth control options that are put in and stay in place for several years to prevent pregnancy, but this is really just a wild guess.
