Pilva 441 (trazodone) And Rp 30s (oxycodone)

Can I take the RP 30 (Oxycodone 30 mg) tablet and wait like 2 hours and take the Pliva 441 (Trazodone 150 mg)?

According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), taking oxycodone with trazodone is usually not recommend and may result in problems with your blood pressure, body temperature, muscles, and thinking. They also go on to list weakness, rapid heartbeat, restlessness, fever, or trouble moving your arms & legs as possible side effects.

If you are required to take these two meds, your doctor can always change the dosage and/or how frequently you take one or both meds to help mitigate any possible risk factors.

As to how long you should wait in between doses, this is something only your prescribing doctor should give advice on at their discretion as well as your own, because no one else knows how your body responds to these meds.
