Pill Imprint E85
UpdatedWhat is it used for? I forgot. I know I got them from my doctor a while ago, but the bottle broke & I only had about 6 left anyway, so I put them in w/ my other bottle & forgot what they actually are for. I'm thinking it's for a cold? Am I correct? Thanks.

A white, oval tablet with the marking E on one side and 85 on the other is manufactured by Greenstone Limited, and they list it as containing 500mgs of Penicillin V, it is an antibiotic that is most commonly used to treat, or prevent bacterial infections.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
It will not treat a cold, since colds are caused by viruses.
Is there anything else I can help with?
