The pill you're describing is identified as Topiramate 25 mg. Apparently it is mainly used to help control and prevent certain kinds of seizures, but also prevents migraine headaches in adults. I haven't found any indications for weight loss, although it does appear to be listed as a potential side effect of the medication itself.
