Pick Up Adderall Refill Early

I received my 1st prescription of Adderall just last week and I've lost them! I had a doctor's appointment today and he wrote me another script that I'm assuming is for next month. I didn't dare to tell doctor that I lost my meds. I live in Maine. Can I fill this new script at a different pharmacy without using my insurance this time?

Hello IRD,

I'll be transparent in telling you that it's in your best interest to come clean and tell your doctor what happened. If they discover that you are trying to get your next script filled already it could potentially cause you problems down the line as they might believe that since you didn't tell them anything and now you're trying to get another script filled it starts to look like you're trying to misuse the drugs or worse sell them. So with that in mind it would be best for you just to be up front and let your doctor know even if you don't want another script filled this month.
