Pholcodine & Buprenophine/subutex

I've bought some cold medicine and didn't notice there is a small amount of pholcodine in it. Will I have any bad side effects if I take this with the subutex I am prescribed?

Pholcodine as an opioid that's used to suppress cough and it also has a mild sedative like effect, so it may not be advisable to use them together.

A lot of it can really depend on how sensitive you are to these types of effects, so you may want to discuss it with your doctor and see what their opinion is on it.
