Phentermine Vs Adipex Mp237

I was prescribed phentermine 37.5mg and I got the Adipex pill that has blue specs with MP237 on it. It had very little effect on me other than slight appetite suppressant. I had taken phentermine about 4 years ago and it was a different pill and worked like a champ. How can I get my dr to give me that one?

Your doctor doesn't control which tablet you receive from your pharmacy, that just depends on who was offering the cheapest price through their supplier at the time the pharmacy needed to restock their supply. Given that it was 4 years ago, it's hard to even know if the other one is still available.

Phentermine is a stimulant that is commonly used to aid in weight loss. One option would be to ask your doctor about prescribing the name brand as being medically necessary, so you no longer get a generic from your pharmacy.
