Phentermine Stopped Working After A Few Days

I have been on Phentermine 37.5 for about a week now. The first few days I saw a few changes in my eating habits however this week everything is back to normal.....cravings, eating etc. Am I doing something wrong? I've heard these pills work for almost everyone, but I've not had any luck with any diets.......

For the most part Phentermine does tend to work for a lot of people, but there is always the chance that it may not work well for 'you'.

If you're taking it as directed by your doctor, pharmacist, or by following the label, then I don't see any reason why you might be doing something wrong. I went ahead and posted the dosing instructions below in case you may be doing something different:

"Dosage should be individualized to obtain an adequate response with the lowest effective dose.

The usual adult dose is one tablet (37.5 mg) daily, as prescribed by the physician, administered before breakfast or 1 to 2 hours after breakfast. The dosage may be adjusted to the patient's need. For some patients, half tablet (18.75 mg) daily may be adequate, while in some cases it may be desirable to give half tablets (18.75 mg) two times a day.

Late evening medication should be avoided because of the possibility of resulting insomnia."

I hope this information helps! You may have to consider switching medications if it's simply not working the way you intended it to.

Phentermine is a stimulant, similar to an amphetamine, so what it basically does is speed up your body to suppress the appetite, but it doesn't actually do anything for cravings and etc. And no medication alone is going to do the whole job, you also have to combine it with proper exercise and a health diet. Have you talked to your doctor? They may have more ideas to help.
