Phentermine Drug Testing

I've been taking Phentermine, the first month I had half a pill then I skipped a month. And then half a pill the following month. I took a whole pill last month and went to my Dr who did a compliance drug screening to make sure I was taking the meds. I had lost 20 pounds as well. Got a letter from my Dr saying she can no longer prescribe the pills because it did not show up in my urine test. I have taken them daily since I had them. I was on my period both times I took the test. Does anyone know if that can affect the results? I also take paxil and 3 meds for blood pressure. I know for a fact the test is wrong. She will not do another test or even a different form of drug testing. When I do my test she has me leave it in a public restroom in the back of the toilet and has me leave. I feel like this is unfair because anyone has access to my urine and could do anything with it. Has anyone else ever had this problem before or does anyone have any opinions on what may have caused this test to be negative? It really irritates me because I know I am telling the truth....

Yep just happened to me! I've never had a drug ever come back questionable and I've been in pain management therapy for 18 yrs! I did my drug test in a plastic cup like you'd find in a hotel room, NO NAME ON IT! Which was defended by the dr by saying "well you were the first person in that morning then!" Ok! Well how long did it sit there without a name on it and where did it get mishandled cause my test came back negative for even my pain meds!!! And I knew both were impossible! I demanded a dip test right there and she gave me one! POSITIVE!!! I left there and went straight to my pain management doctor and had them test me cause the other test was saying negative for EVERYTHING! So today i get the results at my pain management dr and it was positive for my pain meds and negative for phentermine!!! I flat want answers!! I have witnesses that see me take it every morning!! If it is a manufacture flaw then I will find out! But I've been on phentermine AWHILE! Several years and NEVER failed a drug test!! Ever! My pain doc said I could be metabolizing it too fast! But I just wanted to let you know you aren't alone! I will find out why! Luckily my phentermine doctor gave me the benefit of the doubt cause I dip tested positive that day and she rx'd me mine! But what if my next drug test is screwed up too!!!! Not fair to us! A nurse friend who use to work there told me that some months they would ONLY test for coccaine or only test for pot! He said "half the time we didn't know if y'all were taking your meds or not because the clinic was too cheap to pay for the full panel!" So yeah I want answers!
