Phentermine Anyone Have Strange Side Effects?

I just started taking this medicine for weight loss. I am having hot flashes and cold chills, terrible headache and a tingly head. I feel awful. Has anybody taken this and had the same reaction? If so did it pass after a few days? Gotta say this...I am not ever hungry! Like to hear from anyone that has taken this med. Thanks :)

Yes! I've been talking them for a month and a half and I smell this often. I just looked this up to see if I was the only one, and I found this.

YOURE NOT ALONE... I've been on 30mg phen for almost 3 mths (down 17lbs) and I'm experiencing these EXACT symptoms. Doc said she's never heard of it from anyone else... hmm?

samething happen to me, year ago when i was taking phenteemine, when i went to use the restroom, strong pain in my testicles area and then semen leakage.. i stop taking the pills and everything was normal after that..

I have been using Phentermine 37.5mg pills since last week and have started observing a bit of loss in my body weight but I am also facing some major issues that are ruining my day. Whenever I try to eat anything I do not feel like eating it due to which the energy level of my body is decreasing. According to the Diet Plan booklet sent with the pills, I am drinking a lot of water but it's not really helping out. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Also, I have been feeling like I'm a bit drugged which is affecting my work. Is there anything that will nullify this effect?

Yes I have the same symptoms. I have also found it hard to get and maintain an erection. Also reaching orgasm is so hard to achieve.

I also am experiencing bad taste and smell. Was looking all over the net to find if it's something in my home or just in my head. My heart rate is high and hard to breathe. I took this product in 2019 and didn't have this many problems. I definitely will discontinue taking it. It does work and I lost 8 lbs in one week, just not worth putting my health at risk with all the side affects.

Absolutely. I suck on my teeth constantly to the point I now have 3 loose teeth, a sore tongue and my teeth and gums hurt and are swollen

Hi J! I have been taking phentermine for 3 months now and lost 20lbs. I am taking 10 mg a day. Slow and low dosage as I gain a new dietary habit. It has been very helpful! But I have this issue of semen leakage after urination! It doesn’t happen often.

I also have a little dull pain that comes and goes in my groin. Some blood and urination work done at the lab, no STIs - no prostate related issues. Only concern is hernia (waiting for my ultrasound appointment) that is possibly caused by the phentermine constipation.

I know this post is old, but for anyone who needs to know in the future, Phentermine does this to me too. It's awful my tongue is so raw and I can't stop doing it.

Hi everyone. I was prescribed Phentermine 30mg today and will start taking it tomorrow. I'm just a little worried about negative side effects. I have taken Dexamphetamine before with no serious problems, is Phentermine similar? Any advice please?

I have carpal tunnel surgery on my hand in 5 days, and I’ve been taking phentermine for a while now. If I stop today, will I be ok to have surgery?

You have to have a prescription from a doctor to get it. It is considered to be a controlled substance and you have to show a form of identification to even pick it up at the Pharmacy.

I started taking , I also started to have the same issues! I have taken a few before and had same thing happen, then stopped. Now, it is occurring again! I’m glad I’m finding I’m not the only one!

I was on this medication for 3 weeks and suffered a mini stroke because my blood pressure was so hiigh. I was taken off this medication immediately. I still don’t have an appetite.

Hi Jen yes I have taken phentermine as well. I had subtle side effects like feeling very antsy. But I never got headaches sounds like your dosage is too high. But you must drink plenty of water throughout the day. No matter how not hungry you are you have to eat whether it's fruit or finger foods like cheese sticks,or. cubes. Or a simple sandwich. That will prevent your headaches. The side effects will subside it's only in the beginning.just take my advice and the rest will be smooth sailing.

I too have been on the 37.5 dosage of phentermine and have lost 35 pounds in 6 months. After I pee but not all the time I will have semen leakage. My doctor thought I may have had a prostate infection and even had me take an antibiotic for 30 days straight but after reading your post I would say it’s the medication for sure! I will let my doctor know.
