Phentermine 37.5. 3 Times A Day

Can my doctor prescribed me 37.5 mg of phentermine 3x a day.one a day does nothing for me.I have been taking 3 a day and it is working.but my doctor only gave me 30 pills for 30 days.so I was wondering if my doctor is able to prescribe 3 37.5 mg a day
