The dosing guidelines say to take 2 tablets every 6 hours, but previously said 2 tablets four times a day. At 250mgs, how should I take these for tonsillitis?

2 tablets 4 times a day is like 8 am 12noon 4 pm 8pm .2 tablets every 6 hours you are only getting 3 doses in unless your going to get up again early hours to take . So 2 four times a day it is then .
Hello, Kim! How are you?
Taking them every 6 hours is the same as taking them 4 times a day.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
Thus, you should follow your doctor's dosing instructions.
Is there anything else I can help with?
