My husband recently dropped off his prescriptions at walgreens to have them filled. They filled all the perscriptions except for the oxycodone. Note there were 3 other narcotics with that perscription and some that wernt. They explained to him there would be a 24 hour waiting period to fill the oxycodone. They called him the following day and told him that they were ready. When he went to pick them up they told him he did not meet the requirements to have them filled. Now My husband cannot get them filled anywhere because all the pharmacies require you to have at least seven perscriptions. can anyone please tell me what i can do to help my husband, or somewhere we can go to for help. thank you sincerly a caring wife in need of her husband out of pain.

Hi Theresa,
It sounds like something that should probably be addressed by his doctor, since he is prescribing things that no one will fill. I would talk to him about changing the dosage or even the type of medication he is on, if that's what it takes to get the pain relief he needs.
As an adjunct therapy for additional pain relief, I would also consider looking into various Essential Oils that can be applied topically at the site of any pain or inflammation.
Another method would be to try an online pharmacy for obtaining the Oxycodone. Some people on here have mentioned that it can't be obtained this way, but I would still try for yourself before accepting that notion.
