Pharmacies That Carry Buprenorphine Made By Mylan Or Roxanne 54 411 (Page 10)

I've been taking Buprenorphine 8mg for 3 1/2 years now, all of a sudden every pharmacy in our area (that I know of) has switched the manufacturer they are order from, frustrating to me as I just seem to see a difference all though there shouldn't be. Does anyone know a pharmacy that still carries bup mg with the imprint 54 411?

Feeling for all you guys. Don’t know if this helps but I’m in VA (DC,VA,MD metro area) & just got the 54’s filled @ Giant so they are able to get them if anyone is looking for them. God bless

Yes I am in Ohio. My doctor and pharmacy are in PA and all the pharmacies in the trip state area are taking everyone off of burprenorphine, single entity (Subutex) and offering Suboxone sublingual films instead.

I don’t know if you saw my first message a few weeks ago but I brought up maybe ppl who no longer can get Subutex for pain to look into Butrans. It’s the patch version & is prescribed specifically for around-the-clock pain. I wish there was a way I could help you. I got my latest script for Subutex this past Wednesday & it was noted that I had been given a supply from 2 different manufacturers- mainly the Rocanne’s & then a few of those Ephipharm (whatever they’re called, the small, arrows) bc they didn’t have enough in stock of the Roxanne’s. I’m pretty sure they didn’t have many bottles in stock anyway so I’m going to request that they reorder them before next month roles around. So is your dr no longer prescribing you Subutex? Gosh, I hate knowing anyone suffers & has to deal with this on top of pain issues.

In slc myself and they have plenty of rhodes around my friend. You just need to go to the right pharmacy and ask/request from the wholesaler. They will get it for you. If not, i'm in slc and am happy to help. The fix for the opioid epidemic is going to be buprenorphine, subutex and subs. Do not worry. They are flooding our country with them to fix the epidemic. They are all over now and should be way easy to get if done correctly. Don't worry. Subutex is going to be more and more rx'ed now due to the epidemic. If you need any help lmk. I'm in slc and have tried all generics and brand. Happy to help.

also the 54 411s have been bought out again by himka so no more westward but Rhodes is best but for first time I heard someone say the sun 460 are better than Rhodes first person I have seen say that in all the years. thoughts on suns 460 ones? much worse than Rhodes or majority feedback on Sun would be nice compared to Rhodes if have had both before. and no more westward on the 54 411 they are now owned by himka with a bit different formulation but we'll see how they are.

This is the order of the best. Roxanne sold out to westward and within three months westward (the 54 411) have now been bought out by a company called hikma with the same 54 411 imprints. Lots of changes and quick. Also, i have 54 411 and rhodes generic and the rhodes rb b 8 are at least double potency than roxanne/westward/now himka. Don't settle, get the best which is rhodes dispensed and purdue made. Get rhodes guys.

Always stay away from teva and mylan. They are the worst and cheapest, made like sugar pills.

Get rhodes. You wont be let down. If you all think the 54 411 are what you need wait til you try the rhodes generic. It's easily double the potency of 54 411 if not more. I have my pharmacy special order my rhodes but was surprised to hear the sun 460 by one person said they were better but heard so much negative on sun. But i do know my pharmacy said sun products are usually the most expensive generic for most drugs they make including my soma rx. They are more pricey for the pharmacy than watson. It's interesting. Maybe i need more feedback on sun. Never thought i would hear someone says sun is better than rhodes/purdue and again there is no more westward for these or roxanne. They are now himka and not nearly as good as rhodes. Go find it and if you need help locating it let me know.

Check with your local "mom & pops" pharmacy. Even if they don't carry them, they can order them and will be more apt to than a big chain pharmacy. They now come under the name WestWard Pharmaceuticals. I have found some Walmarts also carry them, but Walgreens and CVS do not.

Is anyone having trouble getting their buprenorphine script filled since the new law on controlled substance prescribing-effective July 1st? Also I have been taking the Rhodes bup for the past couple months and it seems to be about as effective as the 54-411’s, in my opinion there is not much difference at all. Anyway I was reading that some Walmart’s were not going to even carry bup anymore because of the problems with the new law.

That would be awful since Walmart is the only one that carries WestWard.. but they stopped accepting the RX coupons for Subs so you may be right. I just paid $200 for my script. It’s sad when it’s a treatment medication. What the hell! So much for wanting to help keep people off heroin.

Hey. I don’t know about Walmart but was curious if you have Giant Pharmacies near you (grocery chain/pharmacy within)? I’m in Northern Va, not far from West Va so didn’t know if your area has Giants bc I have had no problem getting them there. Just a thought.

I agree with small-owned pharmacies & also specialty pharmacies being the way to go since chains like Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, & so forth tend to be more problematic one way or the other & often follow suit within the chain when making new rules as far as carrying certain drugs altogether.

No, not Giant Eagle. Giant is a grocery store like Safeway or Kroeger. It might be privy to Va, I’m not sure. They have a pharmacy within referred to as Giant Pharmacy. They seem to primarily use Roxanne’s.

I could use your help. I am in Northern California in the Bay area and have had three different brands of buprenorphine from CVS my last three scripts. Almost a crap shoot anymore. Almost feel as long as they don't give me those Hi Tech or Actavis I am ok. I got the Sun 460 last time and they do burn and requesting no more Sun. May call around the this month. I use the coupon or I cannot afford the 120 I get every month. The 54 411 from West Ward the month prior were pretty good quality I felt. Now you say Himka bought them out. Wow. How can I get the Rhodes from Purdue out here? What about these web-based pharmacies? I am getting my new prescription the 29th and would like to be able to get a good quality Bupe. Hope you can help.
