Pharm. To Fill Methadone Script.

I have been prescribed 270 10mg. Methadone tabs for approx. 20 years after being diagnosed with Hep.C. After the orange wafers were no longer avaiable, the 10 mg. Tabs were prescribed instead. Had no problem getting them from local pharmacies, suddenly fri. my reg. pharm. stopped supplying it. Have no idea where to find them now. I need an idea of where I can get the script. Filled in Palm Bch County Fl.? I take this drug as prescribed for liver & severe neck & back pain from a car accident and also have severe fibromilgia. Have always been under my Dr.s care every month.

The best advice I can give you is to actually go to the various pharmacies in your area, with your prescription in hand, and ask if they can fill it. If you just call, they usually will not give you an honest answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is an actual patient, or a potential thief that wants to rob their pharmacy.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

I wish I could recommend a pharmacy, but I live on the opposite side of the country.

Does anyone else have any ideas that may help?
