Hi. Yah this is a cold-medicine pill. It's a generic brand of Musinex. It's an expectorant. The active ingredient is "guaifenesin" and it's 400 mg of that.

That is correct, this is an over the counter dosage, which is used to treat the congestion associated with the common cold virus.

Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness and nervousness.
