Perocet 7.5 Side Affects Vs Perocet 10

When I take Perocet 7.5/325 white round I get really hot red face and feel sick but if I take Perocet 10/325 yellow oval this doesn't happen but they both help with pain. Why does the white 7.5 cause the other systoms

There may be a filler that is used in the 7.5 that you're allergic or sensative to.

White round generic 7.5/325 Oxycodone + Acetaminophen made by Rhodes/Purdue, reportedly contain the following inactive ingredients: Silicon Dioxide + Magnesium Stearate + Povidone K30 + Crospovidone + Corn Starch + Stearic Acid + Water

The 10/325 yellow oval-shaped brand name Percocet tablets made by Endo Pharma, reportedly contain: Silicon dioxide + Croscarmellose sodium + Crospovidone + Microcrystalline cellulose + Povidone + Corn starch + Stearic acid + D & C Yellow No. 10

If there is a medically sound reason to not receive a specific brand due to allergies, I'm sure the doctor would write down whichever manufacturer's name you preferred on the prescription to ensure that you receive the safest option available.

Tinker, unless you can prove to your dr that you have the reaction to the 7.5 by allowing him to observe it, your dr may think that you are trying to get him to increase the dosage. You my want to just be sure that you get another generic next time.

These Rhodes make me sick too. Not to mention they do not stop the pain. I just had to talk to the district manager for my cvs to have them order the quailtest or mank because these Rhodes make me itch cause me to get hot and sweaty and nauseated and a headache. I'm not the only one either. My sister says the same thing.
