I had my period finished past 9 days and had unprotected intercourse with my husband and took Diane 35 within 18 hours. Will that make me pregnant? I stopped taking Diane for almost a year now and started taking it for birth control supposedly. I have the effects of bloated stomach, feeling of vomiting and lower abdominal cramps.. Yes, there is a chance that you may be pregnant, especially if you didn't take a proper dose of this medication as an emergency contraceptive. If you just took one tablet, it will not prevent pregnancy after the fact.
The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and spotting.
Have you checked for pregnancy, yet?
