Peri Menopausal
UpdatedHi I'm 52yrs and prescribed Primoult 5mg. I've just finished a very heavy period and want to state taking Primoult. If I take one a day will that stop my period ? Dr said two a day but didn't say when to take. I want to stop completely until menopause over. Thanks

There is really no guaranteed way to just stop your period, until you're fully menopausal. This may help make them lighter and shorter, but there's also a chance that it won't. It really depends on your body and natural hormonal balance.
It would be best to follow your doctor's instructions and take 2 a day, if that's what they said. Splitting them up usually helps keep the level more steady in your body, so unless your doctor says otherwise, taking one every 12 hours should help.
Is there anything else I can help with?
